The first time I heard about this game, thought to myself “Well, this should be interesting… or just plain horrible”. 😛

Dante’s Inferno, as you probably guessed, is a game based on the first part of Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy, Inferno.

The game itself picks mainly the first poem that describes Dante’s journey through the 9 circles of hell.
Producer interview:

Looks pretty good actually, even though lots of whinners will say it’s a God of War/Shadow of the Colossus rip-off, something I’m quite frankly tired of hearing.

But anyways, I’m curious to know the interpretation the game developers gave to hell.
It’s a pretty interesting, though morbid, subject… as I remember first having interest in Dante’s Divine Comedy when I first saw this painting showing what hell looked like according to Dante.
I wonder when they’ll dare to make a movie from it.
