Equipped with several stuff but NOT a GPS, this robot called ACE (Autonomous City Explorer) was set loose in a city to find it’s way around by asking people directions:

Wow… sounds like something coming out from the future. An optimistic one, where robots and humans live peacefully without one having to slave/destroy the other!
