Abandonware – Megaman 3 (NES)

31 05 2009

Megaman 3 must be in the Top 5 games most played in my life.

I remember almost crying when I got to the end… it was such an awesome sensation!
As a kid, I recorded the music from my favorite levels, specially the last levels of Dr. Willy’s castle (which I probably played hundreds of times), and the music from the end… and I’d listen to it over and over again savouring the memories of beating the entire game with no codes or cheats.
The game was truly hard (for me), but I really loved it.

ThinkGeek – Singing Gizmo Plush

31 05 2009

Dunno if many people nowadays knows about Gizmo…

…but I’d be shure to throw a bucket of water if I saw one singing like that around me.
The trick is pulling off the batteries, some owners say… 😛

Shangri-La

31 05 2009

There are several reasons for me to post this new Gonzo anime OP, so I’ll list them bellow.

It’s a dystopic anime, the character design is from none other than Range Murata, script supervisor Hiroshi Ohnogi worked in Noein among others!
Having Range Murata as character design is reason enough though. 😛 If you don’t know him, search for Serial Experiments Lain and Robot Comics. 😀

A2M – WET

WET by A2M is a 3rd person shooter that seems to have much in common with Tomb Raider and Mirror’s Edge:

Only with more cussing, and more shooting it seems. 😀

Abandonware – Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers (NES)

30 05 2009

Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers was one of those games I got so addicted, I even recorded some of the songs to listen to while I was at school, with my Sony Walkman!

Yes, I got to the end of it several times, I remember starting to play it right after lunch, and only stopping when it was already dark.
It was kinda hard, but also fun… I guess nowadays I wouldn’t be able to finish the game anymore. 😛
