Continuing from previous post.
Today (Sunday), like I expected, the event was PACKED.
In this topic, generic event pics, japanese automobile stands, and army-related stands.
Took many MANY pictures, so much that I won’t be able to post them all in one topic only.
I’m selecting them by content, making it easier for you to read and see only what you want.
Follow the posts, I’m shure you’ll find something interesting for you.
Took a bus and walked a bit, but soon realised that the event was packed. Kinda hard to see, but the car line was really long…
Barigui park parking was already full.
And the line to get tickets was scary. But it was rather quick… less than 15 minutes and I was already inside.
The mini dog wanted in…
Inside, lots of people.
Since in Curitiba I am car-less, I thought of checking the japanese cars. I heard they are pretty confortable.
Toyota stand really stood up.
Nissan and…
… Subaru were also there.
Ministry of Defense, Air force…
… Navy and the Brazillian Army had pretty big stands. There was a line for people who wanted to enter that tank.
A space with paintings, sculptures and beautiful pictures (unlike these amateur ones you’re seeing now… 😛 )
Not knowing the event schedule, I got several presentations already running… like this dance in geisha style.
The girl looked as tired as I would become, near the time I went home.
Didn’t had lunch, and staying almost 5 hours wandering around without stops…
…went to the food court to find this. No place to sit, had to use my elbows to walk around… ended up sitting on a chair to eat, but no tables. Delicious Gengiskhan!
Few moments before the beginning of the Tea Ceremony, I got this pic… unfortunately, it was all I could get from the Tea Ceremony, since I lost it once again due to not knowing the schedule.
Maybe you can’t really see the size of the event from my pics, but the place was so huge that 4 or 5 presentations could be happening at once in different places, and you couldn’t hear or perceive them if you’re not close enough.
Ok, that’s plenty of pics, so I’ll end the post here. I think tomorrow there’ll be a new post, showing a different side of the event. Follow up!
Got here now, kinda lost? Don’t fret. Here’s a guide to the matsuri posts:
