Fãs do autor Yoshitoshi Abe vão saber quão diferente o anime é só de saber que é ele o character design da obra.

Haibane Renmei conta a história de uma menina que sonha que está caindo… ela acorda, sem memórias do passado, dentro de um casulo (uma espécie de ovo) dentro de um quarto numa cidade cercada por altos muros intransponíveis, onde aparentemente, todos os habitantes surgiram de alguma forma parecida.

É um anime diferente… com uma história que para alguns é original e muito boa, pra outros um pouco entediante por ser contada suavemente, sobre o dia a dia das personagens (obviamente estou na primeira categoria).

EDIT: Quase esqueci… os fãs desse anime frequentemente descrevem o anime como “uma obra de arte animada”. Preste atenção aos cenários. Talvez por isso que o figure seja diferente… lembra uma pequena estatueta.

Haibane Renmei tells the story of a girl that dreams he’s falling from the sky…
She wakes up, no memories from the past, inside a cocoon (actually more like a huge egg) inside a bedroom in a city surrounded by high impenetrable walls, where seemingly, all habitants had some sort of strange arrival just like hers.

It’s a very different anime… with a plot that for some is original and compelling, for some others kinda boring because it is very slow-paced, about the everyday life of the characters (obviously I’m part of the first crowd).

EDIT: I almost forgot… fans of the anime frequently describe it as “an animated piece of art”. Pay attention to the scenery. Maybe that’s why the figure is kinda different… resembles a small statue.
