Kyuubi from Naruto was one of the most applauded on cosplay contest.

More Naruto with this Zabuza. I think I saw a Naruto walking on the event, but couldn’t get a picture from him.

Couldn’t recogniza the character, but found the cosplay nice. Someone help?

I only watched a couple of episodes, and it was years ago… couldn’t remember.

Haruhi got me by surprize.. didn’t expect to find someone who knows Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu in the event. It’s not well known in Brazil.
Posted a figure of another character from the series: Nagato Yuki. But there’s info about the anime on the post too.

Beautiful cosplayer that was working on Itiban stand. The cosplay reminds me of Video Girl series (Ai or Len)… but I don’t know the series that much, so I’m not shure. Commenter Raine corrected my dumb self. Character is Maria Kurenai from shoujo manga Vampire Knight.
Was in doubt if I posted her or the Bleach cosplayers on the first pic.

A lovely pikachu! Seems very warm in there (it’s winter time in Brazil). She must’ve killed a big Pikachu to make that.

On one of the event walls, there was this huge poster with collage of several cosplayers. Unfortunately, the lighting didn’t help much with the pic…

For those who are waiting for cosplayers, I already finished the selection… only need to prepare the pics so I can post them. I think there’ll be 2 or 3 topics, so wait just a little bit more!

Those who have more info on this post… contacts, robot names, related content about the pics, leave a comment! Specially those involved with the projects!

People from Brazillian Team of Robotics was there, and they brought several robots to show. Pitty I couldn’t watch the presentations, and stay there to “play” a little bit more, but it seemed very interesting.

While I was taking the pics, a mini RC helicopter was flying over my head… awesome! And I thought I would only see stuff like that on developed countries… maybe I’m right!

Meanwhile, kids playing Nintendo Wii. I guess it was made available by the event staff. Long line of kids sitting on chairs.

If I had the time, I’d join the line. Oldest kid on the line.

While I was looking the robots, heard some drum sounds… wondered if there was some stand with someone playing drums, lost in the middle of the event.
Then I found these 2 students from FEI (big tech University in Brazil)… Air Drumming?

They were showing their project, really interesting stuff. Using “drumsticks” with infrared LEDs, a mounted cam to capture the movement (similar to the WiiMote, but backwards), and pedals that uses radio transmition, they made a very realistic sounding Air Drum.
Recently got first place on a contest that awarded the best projects.

Congratulations to them and congratulations for the folks from Brazillian Team of Robotics!
Bringing some tecnologic innovation and fighting to make and show different stuff in a country that practically doesn’t give much support to the area. Gotta have patience and guts for that!

Took a bus and walked a bit, but soon realised that the event was packed. Kinda hard to see, but the car line was really long…

Barigui park parking was already full.

And the line to get tickets was scary. But it was rather quick… less than 15 minutes and I was already inside.

Since in Curitiba I am car-less, I thought of checking the japanese cars. I heard they are pretty confortable.
Toyota stand really stood up.

… Subaru were also there.

Ministry of Defense, Air force…

… Navy and the Brazillian Army had pretty big stands. There was a line for people who wanted to enter that tank.

A space with paintings, sculptures and beautiful pictures (unlike these amateur ones you’re seeing now… )

Not knowing the event schedule, I got several presentations already running… like this dance in geisha style.

The girl looked as tired as I would become, near the time I went home.
Didn’t had lunch, and staying almost 5 hours wandering around without stops…

…went to the food court to find this. No place to sit, had to use my elbows to walk around… ended up sitting on a chair to eat, but no tables. Delicious Gengiskhan!

Few moments before the beginning of the Tea Ceremony, I got this pic… unfortunately, it was all I could get from the Tea Ceremony, since I lost it once again due to not knowing the schedule.

Maybe you can’t really see the size of the event from my pics, but the place was so huge that 4 or 5 presentations could be happening at once in different places, and you couldn’t hear or perceive them if you’re not close enough.
