Starfield Ceiling

You know, while I’m not exactly a astronomer wannabe, the sight of stars always fascinated me.
It became one of my dreams to have a room in a house (or top floor apartment) with a retractable glass roof, so I could sleep while watching the stars.

But that’s just a dream, and a hard one to achieve considering I’m also a fan of urban big city living. So here’s an interesting alternative… something soon-to-be-dad Mike Galloway built for his baby! Very awesome!
If you are skillfull and have enough patience to try something like this, go to the Instructables “How to create a fiber optic starfield ceiling” page!
