I dunno much about the japanese idol-singer culture, but I have already heard of the group AKB48.
It’s an all-girls idol pop group created in 2005 that has almost daily performances at Akihabara (the otaku center of the world) in Tokyo.

For this special American version of their latest single, River, director Jonathan Carrera produced this nice music video clip.

But the life of a super sentai action hero has it’s downsides – with friends who don’t seem to understand how important his actions are…

Go Sukashi is the live action series based a character created by otaku idol superstar Shoko Nakagawa.
Shokotan, very famous for her cosplay works, is also receiving recognition for her mangaka skills and is currently acting as a big representative for the japanese otaku population.
