Celebrating the Talk Like a Pirate day, TellTale games is giving up the Tales of Monkey Island free on it’s official website!

Unfortunately, you probably missed it… the deal is for today only, and I’m publishing this pretty late… completely forgot about it ’till I received an e-mail from a friend just now.
But at least it seems there will be a 50% off deal on Steam, D2D and iPhone for the remake of Secret of Monkey Island on the 21st!

At first, I wasn’t very willing to enter in yet another online game shopping service… as Valve’s Steam service sucks enough of my money.
But sometime ago I ended up having to use Direct 2 Drive to buy City Rain, and the process was pretty easy.
Still, nothing quite compares to the crazy deals from Steam… at least ’till now:

Direct2Drive is on a 5 year anniversary deal frenzy.
The games are not exactly the latest releases, but you get pretty good stuff for 5 bucks only, like Bioshock, Stalker, Saints Row 2 and others.
For 5 weeks on every monday they’ll release more titles for 5 bucks, so it’s worth taking a look every now and then!

A week ago I bought Fallout 3 full price.
Loved the game, it’s been a long time since a game caught my attention this much… so here I am today, writing a post about this weekend’s promotion on Steam: Fallout 3 half off!

I don’t even have to say how pissed I am for not waiting another week to buy (even worse because I bought using Steam), but well, I guess it’s just my luck.
Anyways, it’s really worth it. Because if it wasn’t, I wouldn’t make this post… and in fact I’d probably be throwing my monitor through the window right now…

My wait is over!
I was only waiting for a good Steam weekend deal to buy Left4Dead!

Steam seems to have heard my prayers, and for this weekend only, lowered Left4Dead price in 50%!!
The deal is only for those who buys online USING Steam… gamers outside US will need an international credit card, PayPal or some other payment methods listed at Steam.

It’s kinda hard to explain how difficult it is to write new articles right now, given the conection speed and other stuff I’m in right now… but I had to find a way of making this post.

You know, you could buy Bioshock or Portal for 5 bucks! A really good deal.
Even new games like Left 4 Dead have 25% discouts…
Sale end in January 2nd. Hopefully, ’till them I’ll have a secure and fast conection so I can buy Left4Dead and Bioshock….

Acclaimed game Portal from Valve has it’s price slashed for a nice weekend deal… this weekend only, and only if you buy it using Steam.
Price gone from 19,90 bucks to 9,90!
Really recommend for those who didn’t play or didn’t already buy it… it’s a mix of puzzle with fps that worked! (I bought it on pre-launch day, using Steam)
