Mameshiba is a series of very short (30 seconds) animations involving some kind of talking seed, nut or sweet (with kind of a dog’s face) which will always ruin the mood of people trying to eat it with some piece of unwanted information very inappropriate for the specific moment!
The anime we’re talking about this time is called Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 (wiki entry might contain spoilers), a story that can be described with few lines (though they don’t quite grasp the whole spirit of it) – What would happen if an earthquake with magnitude 8.0 hit Tokyo.
The Anime Discussion series is centered on animes that leads to discussions and has thought provoking content, aimed mainly for adults.
Both to serve as recommendation, and to show animes are not “for kids only”. Continue lendo 'Anime Discussion: Tokyo Magnitude 8.0'»
Fumiko no Kokuhaku is an independently produced short anime which you have to watch:
If I’m not mistaken, the author is Tete, and you can check more info at Fumiko no Kokuhaku official website.

For those who didn’t understand and are curious, goes more or less like this: She confesses liking the guy. He tells her he’s sorry but he has to dedicate himself to baseball. Then, by the end of the whole deal, she tells her she’s gonna make him misoshiro (traditional soy paste soup) everyday (which is something wannabe wives tells their pretended husbands in Japan – very classic), but he once again tells her he needs to focus on baseball.

Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni (Rena-chan and Mion) - ?
(I really loved the cute Rena-chan… best anime cosplayer on the convention IMHO)
