Mameshiba is a series of very short (30 seconds) animations involving some kind of talking seed, nut or sweet (with kind of a dog’s face) which will always ruin the mood of people trying to eat it with some piece of unwanted information very inappropriate for the specific moment!

And it’s piss in your pants hilariously funny if you like that sort of comedy! xD

I saw 15 episodes published so far. Dunno if the series has ended, but I’m publishing them in groups of 5.

The name is a mix of Mame (seed) and Shiba (a dog’s race)… so that explains it.

Also interesting for those learning japanese… as the words are simple and clear.

There’s also tons of merchandise and stuff (think Hello Kitty) which is why the anime is freely available. It works as advertising for tons of different products related to Mameshiba, which is a huge hit in Japan.

The smart seed-dog characters were created by Dentsu – Japan’s largest marketing agency – in 2008.
