A slightly improved version of the Final Fantasy Cockatiel videos!

Video edition by yours truly.

The idea came to me when I was writting the post with the Cockatiel vs Chocobo video, which I found on some Kotaku post’s comments.

Original plan was to make an even more enhanced version: Battle sound effects, game sprites (for can damage), battle menu with “Chocobo Can” as enemy, death animations and some World Map Chocobo running as intro.

Problem was that after hours searching, I couldn’t find the proper sprites, sound effect files and fonts… and it’d take too long to make an extraction process and edition using Photoshop and stuff.

Maybe I could do a better job if I had the game modding skills of this guy who hacked the game to include a Weegee Boss Battle (ROFL):

I decided to simplify things and do the edition as fast (and simple) as I could… I have this bad habit of abandoning projects that takes too long to complete.

I chose Final Fantasy III music because, well, it’s my favorite soundtrack (yeah, I’m an oldschool gamer).

But if my edition didn’t meet your expectations, I’m shure some insane japanese Final Fantasy fan will do (or has already done) something WAY better… xD
