For those who don’t know, Left 4 Dead is a zombie survival-horror first person shooter game made by Valve, the same from Half-Life 2.
In it, you have these pills that help boost your health for a while.
So, unforgiving as game parodies always are, the “Grabbin’ pills”, aka “When somebody gets something” meme was born.

Starting with Louis.

There are tons of parodies related to other Valve games… like Half Life 2, Team Fortress 2, Counter Strike: Source and others.
Zoey:

It’s mostly because of this very nice tool that works with almost all Source Engine games called Garry’s Mod.
Bill:

Garry’s Mod enables you to use Source games’ characters, sounds and levels in sandbox mode, meaning you can use them to create poses, animations, and other stuff like that.
Francis:

This has enabled fans to create parodies, series and lots of other things. It’s not very easy to deal with, and you have several limitations… I played with it a lot when it was still in beta stages. But it’s probably the best tool to create game parodies available out there.
