Allison Louie-Garcia conducted an interview with kids that were born in 2000.
Results speak for themselves:
Had lots of fun watching this and putting myself in the place of kids that were born when the Internet already existed, computer was already as common as telephones were when I was born, and several celebrities had a completely different image from back when I first knew them.
See, these kids aren’t dumb or anything like that. They just have a completely different view of the world.
As Anna Jane Grossman, the author of the original article said: “What do the kids of 2000 see as the most important event in their lifetimes? Michael Jackson’s death”. While some of us have things like 9/11 and other significant events vividly in our memories.
So, I had the intention of writting a more significant post for the new year, but just realized it’ll be plain impossible since I won’t have access to a decent enough connection speed and PC in order to do the research and the image embedding for the whole thing.
Ok, after this one I’ll never call BBC boring again, swear to God!

See if you can understand each icon… xD
The best part is that they are really all the same pic, but photoshopped one by one to fit the category… awesome!
From GameArts (Grandia and Lunar) comes this new WiiWare… 3D puzzle game which gathers cute graphics and an original story:
Looks nice!
The style is kinda weird to me (even though I have nothing against games that some people will call “for kids”), but still interesting premise!
Mackenzie here is a 5th grader that can type 119 words per minute!
She’s like the modern version of Ron “Typewritter” Mingo!
Ron is still a bit faster at 160 words per minute considering he’s also on a typewritter… but Mackenzie is still very young, and she will certainly get faster over time… so there you are.
My wrist’s muscles get inflamed only from watching the video.
