Tony Quan was a graffiti artist before he became completely paralyzed.
Except for his eye movements that is.
Enter the EyeWriter, a project that uses simple available hardware (such as a webcam) to map the user’s eye movements and translate it to computer commands, such as a paint-like program that enables Tony Quan to create graffiti once again!
Check more about The Eyewriter at it’s official webpage!

This is the virtual tour made by James Cutler and the architectural firm Bohlin Cywinski Jackson to be approved by Bill Gates before the construction started:

Looks dated and sluggish, but you know, it IS very old by now… over 10 years if I’m not mistaken.
The idea is still pretty impressive though. Considering Bill Gates pays around a million bucks of taxes alone… ouch.

This is one polite cat. Instead of just barging in…

…he knocks at the door like a gentlema-… gentlecat?

As promised, here’s the DaneBoe’s game vs game videos.
This one: Grand Theft Auto vs. Frogger!

Only thing lacking here is probably 5 stars and the SWAT team with helicopters after the guy.

Developed by Muse Games, Guns of Icarus is an impressive 3D browser shooting game…
…in which you are the lone commander of a war blimp.
You have to resist the attack of other planes and blimps by using mounted guns and fixing several parts of your blimp to avoid it’s crashing.
Demo is free, and there’s also a more complete 8 bucks full version.
Check it at the official Guns of Icarus website!

I always thought that in the future, robots would kill us using extremely powerful gatling guns where their arms should be and stuff.
But then comes HUBO 2…

… and shows robots will also be able to kick our butts with martial arts, swordfights, trampling over us, and humiliating us with wet willies and purple nurples.
So sad… I mean, robots killing humanity and taking over the planet is something we can conform to. But being humiliated like that…

You probably already saw some extreme cooling overclock videos out there.
This one, using liquid helium on an AMD Phenom II processor beats the 3DMark06 world record with speeds over 7Ghz!

Ok, so maybe you understood nothing of what I just said.
It’s basically a computer reaching extreme speeds by using extreme methods to keep the processor cool.
If you’re not nerd enough to get this video, at least this may serve as a lesson to people in the advertisement industry: Leave it to a big ad campaign to turn nerds doing an otherwise extremely boring task to turn it into something very awesome. xD

Fumiko no Kokuhaku is an independently produced short anime which you have to watch:

If I’m not mistaken, the author is Tete, and you can check more info at Fumiko no Kokuhaku official website.
Kinda reminded me of Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo (The Girl Who Lept Through Time)… probably because of the downhill antics. xD
For those who didn’t understand and are curious, goes more or less like this: She confesses liking the guy. He tells her he’s sorry but he has to dedicate himself to baseball. Then, by the end of the whole deal, she tells her she’s gonna make him misoshiro (traditional soy paste soup) everyday (which is something wannabe wives tells their pretended husbands in Japan – very classic), but he once again tells her he needs to focus on baseball.

When you get yourself a cat, careful not to buy a chinese one…

…you might end up having to feed it with chopsticks!
I used to think there was still a long way ’till robot cats looked like the real counterparts… now I’m not so shure anymore.

Ever wondered how’s the view at the top of the world’s tallest building?
Well, wonder no more:

If you’re afraid of heights, this must be one of the most frightening videos ever.
But if you’re an adrenalin addict, this might be the place you wanted to be the most for a BASE jump… xD
