Since the Canon 7D test video I became a fan of Florent Porta’s work (and his taste for music), so I decided to follow his Vimeo videos.
All the better because he’s making a series of videos from Japan, and as readers will know, I feel almost compeled to publish.
And it seems the photographer is using a nice selection of Air music… so here it is.

You think mowing your lawn is awfully boring? Maybe you should consider building yourself a remote controlled lawn mower like Lawnbot400 here:

Of course, there’s the part where you have to clean up all the mess afterwards…
But maybe you already have a “LawnSucker400″ project there.
If you do, maybe you should go to the official LawnMower400 website for more info (complete DIY guide), and to combine your ideas!

I’m all stressed out due to tests and essays from my University, so I thought of posting something to lighten up.

LOLDogs
What better than a series of laughing dogs, which I’ll simply call LOLDogs, to turn a gloomy day in a funny one?

Apparently, this is a viral ad:

But still, very awesome!
I’ve seen some skateboarding dogs videos around, and even saw one live at Harajuku park in Tokyo… but not as skilled as this one. xD

For good or for bad, the crazy-awesome (and weird) martial arts movies era are coming to an end.
But they were the best things ever in my childhood and teens.
I grew up wanting to be a ninja, just like any kid my age.

Unfortunately that magic is kinda gone nowadays, but thanks to YouTube user guggs222 we can watch again some of the greatest fighting scenes of movies that are now 20 to 40 years old!
So, as a tribute to those magic years, and thanking very much for the guy who took his time to make these compilations, I’m making a post series with the selection!
Of course to kids these days those videos will look kinda ridiculous and all without all the video editing and effects we have nowadays, but still…

Balázs Sabransky’s pixelProject is a 2D platformer that shares some similarities with one of the most anticipated title for indie fans: Fez.

And I’m not saying it’s bad because of it… anything that can be compared to titles like Fez and Cave Story is awesome by default!
Download and play it at pixelProject’s official website!

I’m not one to post game spoilers, but this one deserved it.
This video is only for those who played and already finished Modern Warfare 2.

The fastest speed run ever!

I dunno much about the japanese idol-singer culture, but I have already heard of the group AKB48.
It’s an all-girls idol pop group created in 2005 that has almost daily performances at Akihabara (the otaku center of the world) in Tokyo.

For this special American version of their latest single, River, director Jonathan Carrera produced this nice music video clip.
Lots more info about the group and video shootings on the source.

Oldnews actually, but from time to time someone ressurects this very awesome Half Life in 60 Seconds video, so I decided to post it here.

It’s in german actually, and summarizes Half Life 1 and 2 stories!
Best enjoyed if you actually played both.
