When we hear about the relationship between human and nature, artificial and natural, the first thing that comes to mind is destruction, pollution and other negative things.
It appears that Barry Underwood tries to present a different mix between artificial and natural in his work, creating a surreal mix.

They pass a harmonic feeling, as if the artificial lighting became part of the natural scenario, with beautiful results.

The photographer mixes slow shutter techniques made in interesting landscapes and ads artificial lighting for his creations.

Some of his landscapes are even believable… one could imagine the lights are some sort of natural phenomena, or something that could be captures in very special conditions.
