Nanotechnology is coming up with lots of interesting things today, and with this I present you the Carbon Nanotube Sponge:

Developed by scientists in China, seems it’s not only capable of absorbing 180 times it’s weight, it also REPELS water and ABSORBS only oil based products.

Which is just awesome because it could end up being used in emergencies to stop oil spills and even clean polluted rivers and stuff.

One of the problems is, as most stuff related to nanotechnology, the production cost.
Still, very nice!
