Nevermind airbags, the newest inflatable protection system from Ford is… inflatable seat belts:

I don’t really understand it… I mean, I do know people who got bruises from the seat belt because of accidents, but it seems on this tech the “beltbag” get’s inflated to protect people from crushing into something, rather than protecting the passanger from the seatbelt on crashes…
