RANGE – Autonomous Robotic Helicopter

RANGE (Robust Aerial Navigation in GPS-Denied Environments) is an Autonomous Robotic Helicopter developed by an MIT lab.

It uses a helicopter-like navigation system, laser scanners to map the environment around.
Could be used both for rescue missions and also to map unknown environments.
Built for a competition that has lots of autonomous vehicles, it has incredible stability and resources.
