This is a series featuring cosplay, cosplaying and cosplayers!

Over the years, I have collected tons of anime, games and general cosplaying photos, so I decided to share them here.
Identification goes like this: “Anime/Game/Source Name” (“Character Name”) – “Cosplayer Name/Nick”.

Continuing the AniParana Matsuri 2009 post these were taken on the second and last day of the event… October 25th.

I got kinda lazy, so I only took pics on the cosplay contest…

And I’m pretty shure I lost some good cosplayers… I can remember at least one Silent Hill nurse and a couple of other cosplayers I wanted to take pics, but couldn’t find them when I had my camera ready.

The weird pic sizes are because I end up making simple cuts and adjusting colors, levels and exposure using Photoshop.

(My favorite one again. At the end of her presentation, she gave a laugh that was just perfect for the character… too bad most people didn’t hear it – no mic)

After sometime using my camera (a Canon XSi) I realized the pics looks darker in my computer monitor than on the camera LCD panel.
Dunno which is more accurate, but I end up adjusting the pics to look better on my monitor.

(second time Stefanie gets a post here on XSpBlog… the first one was on the Imin Matsuri 2009 event! Also, if I’m not mistaken, she got first place on the solo category)

Anyways, I’m still just learning how to deal with it, so the adjustments and cuts are done from instinct… since I don’t have 100% good sight, excuse me if the results are lame. xD

(very elaborate cosplay… don’t know where it’s from though. xD )

Luckly, I got a spot close to the stage. I couldn’t move because the room was full, but it wasn’t a bad angle.

Like I said on the previous post, the event didn’t have tons of cosplayers… unlike most events held in São Paulo, the proportion of people not wearing cosplay was far bigger. But, the ones that did wear, were on par with the best ones around!

(Tifa was sleepy, so she got on stage, streched herself, and off the stage. )

The contest winners are going to take part of a bigger national event.. not shure when though.

(chibi Naruto had to be taken off the stage by his father… born for the stage perhaps? xD )
