Volkswagen has an viral ad campaign which is the type I like: Not only some weird videos trying to sell a products, but a different idea sponsored by them.

The fun theory isn’t new, but the way they are handling it is certainly interesting.
Changing things we usually see as “boring” or “tiring” to be fun, making people do healthy or good deeds by making it fun.

This cat fails on acrobatics!

Also proves cats don’t always fall on their feet.
Poor kitty. I laughed my pants off, but still, poor kitty.

Watch this trailer for the soon to be released Assault Girls, a live action movie by Mamoru Oshii, the same guy behind Ghost in the Shell, Patlabor, The Sky Crawlers and other worldwide famous anime titles.

Looks interesting huh? A post apocalyptic scenario where those named Assault Girls lives a daily battle against creatures that looks like Dune sand worms or something.

You know, while I’m not exactly a astronomer wannabe, the sight of stars always fascinated me.
It became one of my dreams to have a room in a house (or top floor apartment) with a retractable glass roof, so I could sleep while watching the stars.

But that’s just a dream, and a hard one to achieve considering I’m also a fan of urban big city living. So here’s an interesting alternative… something soon-to-be-dad Mike Galloway built for his baby! Very awesome!
If you are skillfull and have enough patience to try something like this, go to the Instructables “How to create a fiber optic starfield ceiling” page!

Dunno what’s happening with the weather these days, but the citizens of Moscow must’ve been pretty impressed with a strange cloud that appeared on their skies:

Specially those who have watched Independence Day!
Looks like an alien mothership coming to drop some laser/plasma beam…

There’s a saying that goes “A word to the wise is sufficient”.

If we change that to gaming terms, it could turn into “15 pixels and sound is enough to identify one game”.

Nothing quite beats the Hard Mario Levels video, but I gotta admit this one is kinda funny too:

Seems to be an original by cloud8745z!
Bad humor with video games always seems to mix well… xD

Though I’m not shure for which console this will be launched, it’s from CCP Games, the same developers from EVE Online.

It’s a First Person Shooter based on the same world as EVE Online, which is a pretty interesting idea.
For those who are not very into MMOs, there’ll be the FPS choice for those interested in the EVE Online environment.
