I read and heard a lot about Bayonetta, specially after some awesome cosplay… but never really payed much attention to the game itself.

A post from Danny convinced me to watch the trailers, and they are pretty awesome!

Well, everyone probably knows this by now, but Bayonetta comes from the same people behind Devil May Cry.

The obvious main icon that called everyones attention is the European witch-like character that has her name on the title.

She has tons of weapons through the game, including some witchcraft, but the main ones that are part of her personallity are the double guns on her hands, and the ones on her heels.

There’s another interesting in this game which is the “Very Easy Automatic Mode”, a gameplay mode that requires only one hand and basically makes what is seemngly a “hardcore” game (think Devil May Cry) in something casual… it’s almost like watching the game go by itself.

While that might not sound very good for hardcore players who likes to be rewarded with the game story as you play, this could be truly good for those without enough patience or skills to play it. There probably are some unlocking features and stuff for those who choose to play it in the tougher modes, so not all is lost.

Anyways, the games has breathtaking scenarios, crazy fast action, beautiful and horrible characters, tons of weapons to have fun with and seems to be the perfect fit for…. Devil May Cry fans.
