When entering a building on fire, one of the worst problems for firefighters is not knowing what kind of situation they’ll find in there.
Sometimes they end up not being able to enter and help due to that.

But Hoya, a South Korean firm, is developing a remote controlled robot to help firefighters not only visualize the situation, but also have access to tight spaces and even give minor fires a cool down.

This tiny robot is fire and water resistant, has some LED lights and can act as a recon bot or guide victims to the exit.

Pretty nice!
I mean, it’s no innovative technology that no one ever seen before, but if it helps saving lives, it’s praise worthy!
