Remember BigDog? A robot so awesome it even got a parody?
Well, the creators of it – Boston Dynamics – are on the scene again with this Petman Prototype.

Petman could be seen as BigDog owner relative as it uses some elements from BigDog. As you can see, it’s also pushed around.
Of course, as you can imagine, when the robot wars begins, BigDog and Petman will be the ones pushing us puny humans around…

R-O-B, that robotic arm you see on the video is building brick by brick a sculpture designed by Fabio Gramazio and Matthias Kohler, called “The Infinite Loop”.
What’s the purpose? I guess it’s to show how accurate the robotic arm can be, besides being a nice sculpture and all…

Hideki Koike and team at the University of Electro-Communications in Tokyo, Japan, working with Kentaro Fukuchi at the Japan Science and Technology Agency produced this new interaction type with computers using transparent rubber and a tabletop projection panel:

It’s kinda like a touchscreen panel, only you’re able to use these flexible rubber shapes for a better interaction.
