This Rude Goldberg machine that uses RFID is quite an interesting take on the idea…
Though it always seemed to me that one of the principles of Rude Goldberg machines was the lack of technology and the physical contact between elements.
It’s still pretty cool, though nothing quite beats Pythagora Switch!

Interesting face recognition and mapping software being made for Playstation 3 Eye:

Hopefully, unlike most neat gimmick camera stuff, this will be released as a full app soon.

Joules is a robot created by Carl that sits behind on a tandem bike and does all the pedaling:

Looks kinda lonely to use a tandem bike with a robot though.
But good for lazy folks, since the robot is making all the work though…
Kinda makes me nervous that the robot has a flat sharp face pointed towards your back.

Rolling Thunder is a post-production company with some free time in their hands.
They made this Hollywood-esque trailer composition with a futuristic Dubai theme.

Well, I’d say they couldn’t be farther for the truth, with the crisis and all, but at least the trailer looks pretty cool.

Ever wondered about the equipment used on modern Space Shuttles?
Well, check this video of Discovery’s mission STS-128 on the 7th flight day:

Yeah, tons of monitors and stuff!
I imagine in missions as complex as those, they really need all those monitors… but I’ve seen earthly setups more impressive than that. Monitors only of course, I imagine the computers and all electronics onboard must sum some millions of dollars in technology…
Not that they have enough space to shove tens of 40 something inches screens too…
