If only I had enough money so I could just spend a hundred thousand bucks on a home theater room…
I probably wouldn’t do something like this:

Personal taste though. It’s still amazing!
And a huge waste of money too… xD

Honda used some of the Asimo ideas to build this interesting self balacing unicycle thingamagig:

It’s not a first, as I posted about Enicycle sometime ago (and there were previous stuff to that too), but still looks pretty nice.
Very interesting the way it can move sideways, and also looks like it’s hovering while standing still…

This is a teaser for Jan Willem Nijman’s latest game. And it’s Extreme!

Even if you can’t understand what’s happening there.
Lots of bombs, a vehicle that kind looks like a monster truck or something, and bumpy road.
Also, girls in bikinis and el luchador with double uzis? o_O

If you never heard of Big Mouth Billy Bass, it’s basically what looks like a dead fish in a trophy stand that sings and “dances”… very funny “toy” for fishermen to hang on their boats or at the top of a fireplace.

But Big Mouth Billy Bass just got even funnier, with Steve Ravet and crew modding it to reproduce Twitter updates!
The mod started with being able to insert an SD card with .wav files, made by Dan Ros. The result you see on the video above.
But then, the mod evolved and a voice synth was added so the fish could speak Twitter updates!
Now it won’t shut up! Just kidding…
Anyways, you can check more info about it at mbed @ ESC Boston homepage.
Back to the video, I could identify Homer Simpson, Bill Clinton, George Bush and several Monty Python quotes (inexplicably missing the surreal Find the Fish sketch). Awesome!

Awesome clock made with an old HDD and LEDs:

With different lighting schemes, and a nice paint work, this is definitely a clock I’d have in my desk.
Might be a little too distracting though… xD

Happened in Bonneville Salt Flats, September 1st reaching 161mph (260km/h).

And check this out: You can also have one of those (the Mission One).
Unfortunately, you’d have to shell out $68,995 for it… which is, uh, not nice.

Imagine waking up a day and suddenly realizing everything around you is kinda red.
First you would rub your eyes thinking something is affecting your sight.
But then, when you go open your windows to take a look outside, everything is red, as if suddenly your whole neighborhood had entered a wormhole ending up in Mars or something!

This is probably what some australians might have imagined on September 23rd, when lots of cities where suddenly hit, without warning, by a red dust storm!
