Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind (Kaze no Tani no Naushika in japanese) is among the immortal manga classics which received an anime film version that was partly responsible for the creation of what we know today as Studio Ghibli.

It’s set in a post-apocalyptic future where manking almost wiped itself off the Earth.
The beautiful artstyle and an unique complex world built for it could be enough reason to read, but the true beauty in Nausicaa is the story.

Cube Colossus is a top down fixed shooter made by Lucidrine.

With polished graphics and menu system, it’s kinda weird at first because of the control scheme, but a very nice game nonetheless.
I had a hard time with the mouse going off the game screen, and also finding out what I could and couldn’t press on the Workshop menu, but it’s still fun to play.

In Nishi-Shinjuku Station in Tokyo, automatic doors were installed…

…rumors says it’s to avoid suicide (reminding me of Jisatsu Circle (NSFW)), but I guess it’s just another security measure for when the station is too crowded.
Which is pretty nice!
