UCSD Switchblade Robot
A known issue with humanoid robots is balance… very hard to maintain it’s balance while during complex tasks like climbing some stairs.
Despite not having the same shape, maybe the answer lies in this Switchblade Robot developed by engineers from the University of Californa – San Diego:
