How to describe Amanita Design games?

I guess I can’t really say anything… you have to see to understand.
UPDATE2: Machinarium trailers!

IndieGames blog made a topic about the new trailer from the anticipated game Machinarium from Amanita Design (a Czech Republic company).

Unfortunately, I couldn’t find it on YouTube, so you’ll have to click here to watch on Vimeo.

Machinarium

Machinarium

Machinarium, like his “cousins”, has a different story… it’s about a city inhabited only by robots.

The story is centered on a little robot that is infairly thrown away at a scrap yard.
He finds out about a plan to destroy the robot city, and it’s up to him only to save the city from that.
It has a point-n-click mute style, that falls in puzzle land.

Now, good news: For those who want a taste of the game, Amanita Design has some flash games that follows the same style. Some of them received lots of prizes.

Check them out:

And there are a few more games and advertgames on the official Amanita Design page… search for Flash Games.

UPDATE: Amanita Design games are being played in schools. Great puzzle game for kids to develop logic. Not to mention Amanita Design has an educational game with the same art/animation style allied with a quiz game called “Questionaut” which was sponsored by BBC.
Worth checking out!

UPDATE2: Here are 2 trailers for Machinarium!
