Among several stuff I admire about independent games, the soundtrack is one of them.
For those who didn’t play yet, World of Goo is a… kinda weird (in a good way) puzzle game with an awesome soundtrack:

Awesome isn’t it?
If you wanna see more about the game, try the Wolfire Design Week post!

As you probably know by now, the japanese animation culture is already permeating all sections of society.
It’s still kinda shocking to see such a “high standard” refined brand such as Luis Vuitton use such a colorful theme:

But of course, it’s not just ANY regular animation guy… Takashi Murakami is one of the most well known names in Japan when it comes to anime as art in pop culture.
Sulperflat Monogram gets the Murakami vibe very well!

This anime was probably already released in Japan, but here, watch the teaser trailer:

Directed by Koichi Mashimo, from Noir and .hack series.
Yep, the style definitely reminds them…

I love slow motion videos… I was even trying to get a Casio EX-F1 (only to find out they don’t exist here in Brazil).
But the Casio EX-F1 is only an amateur slow motion camera (also the only one available today).
The SprintCam V3 is a professional grade camera which will probably have a price you won’t want to know… because it’ll most likely cost a car or a house.

You can still see how awesome it is though, with this video. Notice it’s an HD video, at 1000 frames per second.
Gotta love the jello action, no?

Very awesome stop motion video composing over 3000 pictures…

…not to mention the awesome soundtrack: Daft Punk – Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger (this one from the Alive 2007 album)
Made with over 3000 photos of London by YouTube user illuzions99!

I don’t really know why, but cats have something about turntables… I remember watching this “phenomena” before:

Hmm… dunno much about this, but it seems Guin Saga is an anime adaptation of a fantasy epic novel that tells the story of a “Conan-esque” character named Guin that uses a leopard mask and is part of a fantasy land.

Set for release this year (2009).
