Is it just me, or has Guinness World Records just completely lost any sense some 10 years ago?
Here’s yet another stupid world record: Most Rotations Hanging From A Power Drill In 1 Minute:
Yeah, I know.
I thought of writing a post saying how stupid those records are getting, but I guess everyone already noticed it by now, so I figured it would end up being just a long boring rant…

Internet culture is reaching up… this time, Visa Japan uses Where the Hell is Matt on their commercial:
The japanese guys are representing the historical faces that appears on japanese yen bills.
I guess the idea is to show that with Visa, japanese tourists may spend their yens everywhere… which is a nice idea to exploit given how many japanese tourists are out there.
But the truth is, this ad is far far faaaaar away from having the same impact of the original Where the Hell is Matt video… ![]()
Hope Matt got a good amount of “financing” to several other trips though… the guy deserves it!

Here’s a video office tour at visual novel production studio Key:
For those who don’t know, Key is responsible to some of the most famous visual novels like Kanon, Air, Clannad and Little Busters! (first three later became Animes, and Little Busters is probably on the way too).
I was really expecting something way fancier for such a renowned company, but I guess it’s still an interesting place to work at.

Interesting ad showing how things would be if technology stopped evolving sometime ago:
I imagine if we are still around someday, an ad such as this one will be created showing us answering noisy cellphones and having to use something that was called “credit card” to pay for stuff, in an age we won’t need them anymore.
Think chip sized cellphones implanted under our skin, and automatic cashiers that debits directly from our bank accounts… hmmm
