This teaser video came out some days ago, and it’s awesome!

There has been some speculation about the source, but at this point it seems it’s not from Valve (as it looks like some teaser to something related to Half Life), and it can be just another awesome fanmade video just like Escape from City 17.
It has Lost like music, sounds like a teaser to something related to Half Life or Portal, has some augmented reality action with possible HEV suit all that in a dystopic environment… sounds perfect to me!

Elan EMC – Smart Remote Controller

Dunno if I agree with Mark from Gizmodo (source of this news) on this being a brilliant product… but at least some of the ideas are interesting:

Elan’s Smart Remote Controller, which isn’t for sale yet, acts as several control devices… but mostly as a double touchpad that allows some stuff multitouch screen does.
It seems Panasonic also presented a similar device on the same event: CES 2009.
My bet is more that this will be yet another gimmick device that’ll be forgotten not long after it’s release (like so many others) than this becoming a standard in the future.
But it’s my opinnion only… I might be wrong.
