I’m fortunate to be living in a city that, while isn’t as big or as famous as others like São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, it’s still a place you can find most things you want, also having a great weather IMO (colder than average), and lots of nice green parks and gardens to visit… I’m talking about Curitiba.

Every now and then I get to go to some of the tourist sites… this time I went to the Botanical Garden of Curitiba (Jardim Botânico de Curitiba). Took Kyon’s Sister and Cactus Dog along with me.

Very weird but kinda interesting game:

From what I could understand, you have to make your head grow to give a stronger “headbutt” on your box in order to push the other player off the board.
Another interesting point: The game was made in less than 48 hours for the 2009 Nordic Game Jam.

Gameboy is already an interesting idea for a cosplay, but this guy takes the prize for doing a WORKING Gameboy cosplay!

Either the guy is really awful at Tetris, or he didn’t found out how to make the piece rotate… but the cosplay is awesome anyways!
Gives me an idea for a console cosplay only girls can play.

For brazilian friends who watched or at least liked the music from Capitu series.

I have to admit I didn’t watch much of the series, even though I found it kinda interesting… but I guess one of the things I found most interesting in it was this music.
If you love rock/metal but playing plastic instruments still requires too much coordination for you, then maybe you can still have fun with this new awesome rhythm game: Headbang Hero!

Another interesting point: it’s a multicultural project. From an author’s comment: “a Portuguese, an Austrian and a Brazilian”, them being Tiago Martins, Andreas Zingerle and Ricardo Nascimento.
Check more details about it at Headbang Hero’s official website.

Cat lovers and fans of F-Zero will like this neat little flash game called Flash Cat

Flash Cat
It’s basically a race game, but instead of some futuristic hovercraft, you will be in control of a cat riding some green purple centipede kinda thing…

And it’s in all 16-bit retro style!

I wasn’t really super-addicted to this game, but I played it a lot, and for some reason, I never forget it’s music. xD

The theme is kinda weird and funny too… you’re a police-rat chasing cat-burglars (get it?)… but your objective is to avoid them and get all the furniture/art on the house.
You also get a bonus if you get those WHILE the cat burglars are hiding behing them. o_O
