Dunno how many people will know about this classic, but the movie looks interesting so…

…decided to make a post about the new Yatterman Live Action Movie.

Yatterman is actually an anime aired in Japan in 1977. It’s a classic with over a hundred episodes that’s part of a series called Time Bokan.
The anime got a remake this year, with some changes to fit more modern animes.

The live-action movie has Takashi Miike as director, who’s famous for working with several titles ranging from the extremely violent (Ichi the Killer), the completely bizarre (Audition), the average game adaptation (Dead or Alive) and more easygoing movies (Zebraman).

The movie will be released in March 7th, 2009 in Japan
