I almost forgot completely… only remembered about it few days ago when I transfered all photos from my cellphone.

But here they are, the images from mini-matsuri(pt-br) which happened at Japan square (a small japanese theme park) September 7th 2008.

The mini-matsuri, like the name says, was small.
Only this time it seemed even smaller than last year, though more people showed up.
It seemed like it had less food stands, or less options… can’t tell.
But it was very nice anyways.

The only thing that’s never absent on matsuris, specially for the Otaku public, is ParaPara Dance.

And it seems that every new matsuri, this popular dance get’s bigger…
This time, folks playing taiko were playing some traditional songs to help.

…to the point there was a full circle inside Japan square.

These events are great to eat some typical matsuri food, see different stuff, feel a little bit more “part of the world” (if you’re also Otaku), and simply escape the daily routine.
