Bethesta, creator of Oblivion, launches October 23 the third installment of acclaimed series Fallout.

UPDATE: Had to replace all videos. And this is the one things I hate the most about YouTube.

Have to admit I know nothing about the series, never played any of the games.
Only know that it’s set in a post-apocalyptic future, devastated by a nuclear war, plagues and other stuff, in which few people survived.

Similar to other dystopic stories, part of humanity lives safe in shelters and closed communities, while another part of humanity was banned and comdemned to live in what’s left of the planet out there.

This third chapter happens in a future not very distant from the previous title, and the idea is pretty close too. The player controls a ch aracter that needs to leave one of those shelters to explore the world out the, also known as Wasteland.

But while the story and scenario are close, the similarities end there.
Fallout 2, the last game of the series was released 10 years ago, in 1998, by Interplay.

Bethesda kept it’s tradition of making ashtonishing graphics and scenarios, which can be seen in Oblivion, with what seems to be a very interesting gameplay too for Fallout 3.

Only talking about it won’t give a clear picture, so check out the trailers.
Just a warning though: It’s M-Rated. Lots of violent scenes.
