		<description>I rather resent the comment about teenagers not being able to get this but I digress. Lain seems to be a metaphysical being not bound in either reality because even after she loses her body she communicates with Arisu in the real world. </description>

		<description>i dont think that she erased her own memories i saw it rather as that she erased her own physical existence, she was supposedly born in the wire and somehow given a physical body. So she erased her own existence and any memory of her from other people. Or maybe when she finally erased memories of her existence from everyone (since Arisu and Lains family still retained their memories) her physical existence became non-existent because of all the talk about how being resided in others memories of one&#039;s self </description>
